iBall launches mobile phones in 7 diff categories for Indian market


Best IT World (India) Pvt. Ltd. that markets computer peripherals under the popular brand, iBall has launched a range of mobile phone handsets for the Indian market .

For the first time in India the brand will launch range of mobile phones under seven segmented categories each having unique characteristics, i.e. Shaan, Waterproof, Sleec, Flip, Posh, Touch and Senior.

iBall Senior, is targeted at older generation. The company has introduced feature like SOS button in the handset for senior citizen. The other features that will attract senior citizens are amber color, large fonts, enhanced sound and lot more.

iBall Waterproof, which has been designed by the company considering the Indian weather and life style of working Indians. At the launch event Parasrampuria dipped the phone in a bowl of water for almost 10 minutes. Even after that the handset operated normally.

In its Sleec category, company has debuted the slimmest QWERTY phone, named Thin. The handset measures up to 8 mm in thickness. Other features include dual camera, a dual battery, and supports dual SIM.

Price Range of iBall Mobile:

* Shaan series may cost between Rs. 1500 to Rs. 2500
* Waterproof, the Senior and the Floatable series will cost near about Rs. 3000
* The Sleec and Posh series will be priced around Rs. 5500
* Touchscreen handsets will be priced between Rs. 6000 to Rs. 7000.

iBall will be simultaneously launching in over 400 cities with 500+ distributors across the country. The company already has 23 branch offices across the country. iBall has over 100 self owned service centres, another first for a consumer product company in India.
